He said he and his client had driven about 54 miles inland along the Ri- mac River when they came to a stop near a valley sur- rounded by tall hills. In the midst of their sur- vey. he said, “my client, ob- viously excited, told me he saw a shining object in the bottom of the valley that was advancing towards us extremely slowly: “The car was not lar away. I ran back for my camera, because in that frac- tion of a second I thought I, too, had seen something in- teresting. “When I pointed my cam- era and took the picture, the object was less than 50 yards away from us and about 20 yards off the ground. “Suddenly, the ob- ject changed direction, headed toward the East and increased its speed. It rose off the ground as iftrying to avoid some high tension wires that came down from the top of one of the hills and crossed the valley, and disappeared from view.” Hugo Luyo said the object “was the color of burnished silver. It'was shaped like an overturned sbup plate with a cupola on the top. “At the very top of the cu- pola, there was à round ob- ject giving off a fixed sky- blue light. Lower on the cu- pola, we could see a row of small windows like vort holes in a ship.” On the bottom of the ob- ject, he said, was what ap- peared to be “the propulsive force of the objest ... a dark red throbbing lignt that was aimed toward the ground from a sort of tur- bine in the middle of the up- sidedown plate. Near the turbine-like part, we could see protuberances like half-eggs.” The architect said only about 30 seconds elapsed from the time they spotted the object until it disap- peared. “But from the minute that I held in my hand the Pola- roid photograph, Ihad prvof that what my client and 1 saw was not an optical illu- sion,” Hugo Luyo said. “In the middle of the three-by-four-inch photo- graph, we could see the flying saucer, even the row of rounded windows,” he said. “After this experience. . | PARK CAA po ss SPACECRAFT FROM OTHER PLANETS An Explanation of Photographs (on attached Sheet): 1, 6, and &10 - Three of a series of photographs taken by Mr. George Adamski, iii at 9 a.m., December 13, 1952 - through his six-inch telescope. This is the "Venusian Scout Ship". About 35 feet in diameter, this little space- craft was made of translucent metal. On photo &1 is shown the large magnifying lens and the three-sphered landing gear, as well as the housing which contains the craft's main machinery underneath the ship. Photo &6 shows the portholes, spherical landing-gear, lens, and light on top of the cabin. The white line around the base of the dome is a form of power coil. &10 gives a detailed view of one of the three landing spheres by means of which the saucer can land in any direction. This simple ingenious arrangement also facilitates maintenance on the ground or in the stowage decks of great carrier ships. (Photographs published in the books INSIDE THE SPACE SHIPS and FLYING SAUCERS HAVE LANDED by George Adamski.) NOTE: The first reported landing of a spatecraft in this century was made by a man from Cardiff, reported at Caerphilly, Wales, May 18, 1909. Mr. Lithbridge says he was walking through the mountains when he came across a large cylin- drical construction parked beside a lonely road. Within a few minutes after the men inside had seen him, the machine rose in the air and flew away. It had no wings and made little noise. A depression was found in the grass at the place he indicated. - - - In ancient days these craft have been referred to as 'Chariots of Fire','Sky Pearls','Silvery Bells','wheels within Wheels', -'Cars Celestial possessing the radiance of fire', to list only a few. *2, %3,and F1ll - From a series of four photographs taken by George Adamski on March 5, 1951 at 10:30 a.m. This shows the large 'Mother-Carrier and Labor- atory' Craft (often described as 'cigar-shaped') releasing balls of fire or puffs of smoke. On this series one can see the 'Carrier Craft' releasing the 'Scout craft', one-by-one, until six are in view. The scouts moved down a sloping rail, and through air-locks in the bottom of the ship,out into space. NOTE: This type of craft has often been mentioned in Biblical and other anci- ent records, and even modern times as: 'Pillars of Fire', 'Flying Scrolls', 'Glorious Luminous Crosses in the Sky', 'Candles hanging in the Heavens','Arks with doves that flew to their windows'. They have been seen hovering in the sky, turning on end, swaying gently back-and-forth, and disappearing into the Heavens in seconds, turning many times the brilliance of bright gold. &9 - This photograph was taken by Stephen Darbishire, age 13, son of a Coniston Doctor. Stephen and his cousin Adrian, age 8, witnessed this 'scout' descenã at a tremendous speed, and disappear behind a hillock. It appeared again, tipped-up on its side, and then shot-up into the sky, making a swish- ing noise as it did so. Rodeffer of Silver Springs, Maryland, on February 26, 1965, in the presence of George Adamski. This film shows the Scout Craft approx. 75 ft. from the camera, and hovering approx. 75 ft. above the grounds of Mrs. Rodeffer's home. As the Craft sways back-and-forth, it 'appears' to change its shape. This effect is caused by the varying amounts of force-field surrounding the Craft, and thus, distorting the visual appearance. The film also shows the three-sphered landing gear lowering and retracting. j | George Adamski was at the home of Mrs. Rodeffer the day the film was taken, and he had alerted her to seizing her camera and getting outside, when the “os Craft first appeared.
