Dear Sir: Mr. Ernest Jahn and I are in the process of preparing an encyclopedia on the subject of UFO's (unidentified flying objects) for G. P. Putnam's Sons for publication in spring 1979. We plan to give each nation of the world its own separate heading and in order to get an accurate picture of the UFO situation in your country we would be glad if you would complete and return to us the enclosed question- naire. If any of the information requested is not readily available to you, please leave those questions blank. If you are able to answer only one or two of the questions, the information will still be of use to us so please do not hesitate to return the form only partially completed.
